Subject: Robt.Bryan. Chief Att. for Mumia Abu-Jamal on KPFA 94.1 fm Mon. 3:30 p.m (PST) 29 min. From: Kiilu Nyasha <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sun, 24 Jul 2005 17:23:49 -0700
Greetings All: I interviewed Robert Bryan last Wed., July 20 in the KPFA studios, in an effort to saturate the alternative media with the latest developments in the case of Mumia who is still on Pennsylvania's death row. As Att. Bryan said, Mumia is in "grave danger" of being executed. For a host of reasons, the movement to free Mumia has suffered a loss of popular support. At least one of them is that his very productiveness in contributing brilliant, concise commentaries and writings (4 books to date) tends to lull us into a sense of his being all right, okay, maybe even "just fine." He is not! If you can't listen at this time -- thanks to Amelia Gonzales who found time for it unsolicited -- other programmers have and hopefully will consent to broadcasting at least portions of it on KPFA, KPOO, and any other stations interested in getting the word out and its urgency. Thanks you all. </blockquote></x-html> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- LAAMN: Los Angeles Alternative Media Network --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Digest: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Help: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archive1: <http://www.egroups.com/messages/laamn> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archive2: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yahoo!
