He is also the Academic Director of the Research Institute for Peace at Givat Haviva. He has written extensively on the politics of the Middle East, and is well known for his revisionist interpretation of Israel's history and as a critic of its policies towards the Palestinians. His most recent book is: A History of Modern Palestine. One Land, Two Peoples. Dr. Pappe will be introduced by Professor Mahmood Ibrahim, and the event will be moderated by KPFK host of Uprising, Sonali Kolhatkar. Refreshments will be served.
