Hi friends at LAAMN,

*Jason Waters here, Founder & Executive Director of ArtistSalon. (feel free
to change this sentence to your name, group, and title, etc)

*Happy Day to you. Have a favor to ask of you, if appropriate… Will you
please tell your neighbors, friends, colleagues, email community about a
1,000+ person Human Art Installation in downtown L.A.? It's *the first of
its kind in America* for The ONE Campaign!

*BE PART OF HISTORY! huge Cristo-like Art Installation!
Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 4pm
8th and Spring Street
downtown Los Angeles, CA, USA:*

*MacroAnthropos – a ONE Block Human Wristband
*
*What is the goal of the ONE Block Human Wristband?* The Los Angeles Arts
community and friends of the Arts are coming together on behalf of The ONE
Campaign(*http://www.one.org/*), which is committed to helping America and
188 nations with their Millennium Project (*
http://www.unmillenniumproject.org/*) and the 8 Millennium Development Goals
they created on behalf of folks who suffer every day, from cradle to grave,
like New Orleans residents experienced in the worst aftermath of Hurricane
Katrina earlier this year. The eight specific goals and background on them
can be found at *http://www.unmillenniumproject.org/goals/index.htm*

Basically,

"*in September 2000, 189 nations, in the Millennium Declaration
[A/RES/55/2], committed themselves to making the right to development a
reality for everyone and to freeing the entire human race from want. They
acknowledged that progress is based on sustainable economic growth, which
must focus on the poor, with human rights at the center. The objective of
the Declaration is to promote 'a comprehensive approach and a coordinated
strategy, tackling many problems simultaneously across a broad front.'"*

And, many of us in L.A. are bringing it onto the radar here with this
1,000-person Human Art Installation. Even though awareness is always the
first step, there's no reason it can't be a great time too.

And, we make this request of you to send emails far and wide – *around the
planet* - to reach your L.A. friends and people who will be visiting
Southern California on Dec. 10. And, show up with your 3 to 300 closest
friends. It is going to be amazing to see 1,000+ people whose care is larger
than the "I'm-right-you're-wrong" thinking - people who believe in fixing
things that can be fixed. And, these are things that we *can* fix – plain
and simple.

And stick around for the party afterwards, too - text is below...
