Hello everybody:
I'm publicly posting the following email I received in
my inbox today to let everybody who reads this
listserv know that I apparently am being stalked by
one or more unknown individuals, possibly disgruntled
law enforcement agents. It looks like the articles
I've been writing about Theresa Dang's case that I've
been posting all over the internet have struck a very
raw nerve with deep inside the Garden Grove Police
Department, Orange County District Attorney's Office,
the folks who run Garden Grove City Hall. Someone in
power apparently is very disturbed about what I have
done.
Some of the information that has been written in the
email indicates to me the author or somebody else
close to "him" has been in close proximity to my
physical residence. But other claims it contains are
patently false. For example, the allegations of me
"getting out of small car in alley dated last saturday
at 3:15 with two other hispanic men. Other pictures of
you going into and out of apartment" are untrue. And
I'm personally not acquainted with a "largish male
with oversize t shirt" at my apartment complex,
although there are dozens of men who live on my block
who could match the description.
I am reporting this email to the Anaheim Police
Department -- although I'm not saying that they are
going to do much of anything about it. Whoever wrote
it is very knowledgeable about law since they
themselves don't claim to be the ones engaged in the
act of stalking itself; they are just hinting that
this is going on. Of course, this is the kind of
nonsense you get when you have the courage to stand up
and be openly critical of the power structure here in
Orange County, California. I'm sorry, but I refuse to
be intimidated. But if these jerks do something to me,
I ask that hundreds of people like yourself across
Southern California rise up in my absence and
intensify the struggle for civil liberties, human
rights, and social justice.
