Please Distribute Widely The International Sweatshop Workers Tour Presented by United Students Against Sweatshops Hosted by Peace and Justice Coalition California State University Los Angeles Co-Sponsored by the Rockefeller Fellows Program Tuesday, February 7, 2006 @ 2:00PM In the Golden Eagle Ballroom (above the foodcourt) California State University, Los Angeles Cal State LA will host three sweatshop factory workers: Ms. Branice Lilungu Musavi Kenya Ms. Siti Malika Indonesia Ms. Phannara Duangdej Thailand These workers will speak about their experiences in the global garment industry. Each works in a factory that produces garments sold at university bookstores around the country. This event is part of a broader campaign to encourage collages and universities to commit to purchasing and selling only sweat-free garments.
