This fundraiser is in support of keeping the gates open in order to continue to feed low income families and promote health education. The South Central Community Garden is located at 41st and Alameda/Long Beach Blvd. The Garden has served the community for 14 years through the legacy of Mayor Tom Bradley. Throughout its history it has held outreach programs in gardening techniques and health education, and has fed low income families. For the last three years, Angelenos, friends and organizations have been working diligently to keep this valuable urban farm operating.
