Israel has been constantly attacking and terrorizing the Palestinian
population of Gaza. Sound bombs, targetted assassinations, home
demolitions, and shelling into crowded civilian areas, and siege
have taken place on an almost daily basis.
Today, artillery shells were fired by Israeli gunboats just off of
the Mediterranean coast, into a crowded beach where families were
having picnics. Nine Palestinian civilians were slaughtered; five
of them from the same family. Ali and Raisa Ghali, and 3 of their
children aged 1, 3, and 10. One daugther was swimming and
survived. Thirty others were wounded. Along with a couple other
incidents, Israel has killed 13 Palestinians today.
The Israeli Consulate must notice that there is widespread
condemnation and protest against Israel's crimes in Gaza. Passing
traffic needs to also learn whats going on, since it gets a very
watered-down version in the complicit media. Your presence is
needed in this protest - please join us! The Ghalis have paid with
their lives; the cost for you is just a couple of hours of your time.
Please bring your own signs, with a message centered around the
topic of this protest.
Please spread this announcement widely and also make some calls to
encourage the widest possible attendance!!
