The Northeast Democratic Club's July Meeting How Successful Campaigns Work July 19, 2006
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Friends, Given an ideologically-driven opponent in the evermore right wing Republican Party whose political tactics are frequently as brilliant as their policy-making is inept, Democrats clearly need to figure out how to run campaigns that are as smart as our policies are compassionate and just. Join us Wednesday as Matt Rodriguez, campaign manager for Kevin de Leon's successful primary campaign in the 45th Assembly District, engages our Club in an interactive discussion of campaigning best practices. We're meeting at our regular location, at our regular time: Wednesday, 19 July, at 7:00 p.m. El Arco Iris Restaurant 5684 York Ave., Los Angeles Join Club members beforehand for dinner in the restaurant up front. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Northeast Democratic Club is one of the most active progressive Dem Clubs in the region. Be sure to bookmark the club's website, ww.NortheastDemocrats.org, and check it frequently to find out about our ongoing activities. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sharon Kyle and Dick Price Northeast Democratic Club Email:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.northeastdemocrats.org/news.php ------------------------ Yahoo!
