Protest Against the British Occupation of Northern Ireland and Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Hungerstrike in Northern Ireland When: Friday, August 18 @ noon Where: British Consulate in Los Angeles 11766 Wilshire Blvd suite 1200 Los Angeles, CA 90025-6875 Orange County Irish Northern Aid (INA) will hold a protest in support of Irish Unity at the British Consulate in Los Angeles on Friday 18th August 2006 (Noon). We extend an invitation to those who support the cause of Irish unity to participate. Irish Northern Aid (INA) is an American based 501c(3) charitable membership organization that supports, through exclusively peaceful means, the end to British occupation of Ireland, its' reunification and the establishment of a democratic 32-county Irish Republic. Our Strategy is to develop a broad coalition of supporters for Irish Unity through organizing and educating the public, our members, political leaders, and the media. We wholly support the current Peace Process, including the full implementation of the Good Friday Agreement which was endorsed by the vast majority of the Irish people. We support a process of National reconciliation and equality for all the citizens of Ireland. It is to this end that the Orange County unit of Irish Northern Aid will hold a protest at the British Consulate in Los Angeles on 18th August 2006. We extend an invitation to anyone who shares these values to come out in support of the Irish cause. In keeping with the spirit and principles of the 1916 Proclamation, Irish Northern Aid welcomes all those who share our vision.
