The Liberty Hill Foundation is now accepting proposals for the 2007 Environmental Justice Fund. The Environmental Justice Fund helps organizations working to decrease exposure to toxic substances in neighborhoods and workplaces, particularly in low-income areas and communities of color.
Proposals for the 2007 Environmental Justice Fund are due November 1, 2006. These workshops will provide important information including eligibility requirements and specific application instructions. Workshop Dates and Locations: Wednesday, September 27th, 7 - 9pm at the UCLA Downtown Labor Center Saturday, September 30th, 10 - Noon at the Liberty Hill Foundation PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The workshop is FREE, but space is limited.
