Physicians for Social Responsibility-Los Angeles, KPFK-FM, and the 
Nuclear Policy Research Institute present:

Los Angeles premiere and benefit screening of
"Helen's War: portrait of a dissident"
a film by Anna Broinowski

The leading spokesperson for the anti-nuclear movement, Dr. Helen 
Caldicott will speak after the screening the Dendy Award-winning 
documentary and discuss her latest book, Nuclear Power is Not the 
Answer. Dr. Caldicott is a founder of Physicians for Social 
Responsibility, Women's Action for New Direction and the Nuclear 
Policy Research Institute. She is taking-on the myth that 
nuclear-powered electricity is "clean and green."

When: Monday, October 9, 2006 at 8:00 p.m.


Where: Laemmle Theatre ~ 1332 Second Street, Santa Monica

Admission:
General admission is $25 per person ($20 tax-deductible)
The Peace Supporter ticket ~ at $75 ~ includes preferential theater
