Friday, November 17, 6:30pm Feminist Tribute to Native Americans Radical Women hosts a non-traditional Thanksgiving celebration with a review and discussion of the book, Sisters In Spirit: Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Influence on Early American Feminists. Native women blazed the revolutionary trail of early feminists by providing a model of freedom at a time when other women of color and white women had few rights. Enjoy a plentiful Fall Harvest Dinner at 6:30pm ($8 donation) before the program begins at 7:30pm. Low-income and work exchanges available. This event will take place at Solidarity Hall, 2170 W.
