Hi all, Please spread the word, well be marching on Saturday in solidarity with all those who are traveling to Washington DC to tell the Bush/Cheney administration, in no uncertain terms, its time to end the U.S. war in Iraq. When: Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 12 oclock noon. Where: From Plaza Vera Cruz Neighborhood Park (130 E. Cota St. in Santa Barbara) What: A march up State Street, ending at De la Guerra Plaza (15 E. De la Guerra) for a rally Who: You, me and all the caring friends we can round up. There will be simultaneous marches across the country. L.A. will have a massive march. Santa Barbara can take pride in the fact that our turnouts for anti-warand other social justiceevents have always been remarkable, truly helping to make a difference. The Bush/Cheney administration is on the run and peace-loving people have to stay right on their tails. Please, reach out to friends, family and co-workers and lets get a crowd together every bit as big as the one that formed in 2003 to tell Congress Dont do it! We had very few allies in Washington at that time but now things have changed. Lets shake up State Street and make a whole lot of noise Peace, and bring em home! Jon Jon Williams c.
