Attached is a leaflet for a MCLE program presented by the National Lawyers Guild concerning legal issues involving the detainees at Guantanamo Bay on February 15 from 6-8 pm at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Several Federal Defenders of San Diego are among the many attorneys representing these detainees and will describe their experience and the legal issues involved. Marjorie Cohn will speak on the international law issues and the new Military Commissions Act. This event is free. Please come and spread the word to others.
