As many of you know, marches and rallies to end the occupation of Iraq will happen in both LA and OC on March 17th, the weekend of the anniversary of the invasion. Some details of the local action have yet to be decided, but a trusted local activist has generously arranged for a plane to fly over both rallies, and along the freeways between them, for three hours, towing a banner that says: "De-fund the war! Troops home now!" Donations are needed to pay for this. We've already raised about $700, and need another $300 to make it happen. If we get another $400 beyond that, the plane can stay in the air for another hour.
