Below you will find the public campaign to stop “Mercenaries 2: World in
Flames” initiated by the Venezuelan Solidarity Network.
Please do spread your voice to everyone you know to help stopping Pandemic
Studios from delivering into the general market the sale of the most
outrageous realistic video-game “Mercenaries 2: World in Flames”. As you know
Bono
primary investor of Pandemic Studios is the one who advocates for various
political causes, in particular world hunger and African poverty. Ironically
in
November of 2004 his rock band U2 released the song “How To Dismantle an
Atomic
Bomb” which is basically based on the anecdote about Bono asking Michael W.
Smith the question at an AIDS fundraiser, "How do you dismantle an atomic
bomb?" to which Smith just shrugged and Bono answered, "With love." What’s
going on with this guy, is he schizophrenic or what? Now, he comes out with
this wicked video game “Mercenaries 2: World in Flames” which depicts the
destruction of the whole Venezuela.
Religious leaders have written a letter to U2’s Bono to stop his video game
"Mercenaries 2: World in Flames" in which his company Pandemic Studios is
one of the main investors. People can help to circulate among other religious
leaders, politicians or any concerned individual the attached sign-on letter
written by these religious leaders.
Now it is the time to spread your word before Pandemic Studios delivery into
the general market this outrageous video game which is planned to be
launched on multiple platforms (PS3, PS2, X Box 360, and PC). The media is a
powerful instrument of education either for good or bad and the young people
are
mainly the recipients of these kind of media tools such as video-games.
