#6 Prayers for Peace Vigil in Huntington Beach Friday,
     March 16th

From: Christian [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I pray this email finds you all well. This is to inform you that there
will be an open to the public, interfaith friendly, vigil for peace at
St. Wilfrid's on March 16, 2007 at & 7:00pm. It will coincide with
an event at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. where
thousands of Christians -- Evangelicals, Protestants, and Catholics --
from across the country will worship together to mark the fourth
anniversary of the Iraq War with public prayer and a candlelight
procession through the center of the nation's capital. I think we
can all agree that the situation deserves our prayers. You are all
encouraged to invite your friends of shared faith, other faiths and
even no faith. There will be a liturgy but no Eucharist. Even though
the national event is ecummenical, St. Wilifrid's is inviting our
Abrahamic brothers and sisters and those from other faiths to
come and pray with us and be a united power for peace and love
in the world. We are hoping that this will be the beginning of many
friendships and of many interfaith gatherings in the future in the
name of peace. It should be a sizable event and the press will
be notified.
