The man who said that to Maria Zaragoza, a building & grounds worker at Reseda High School, conducted the so-called Skelly hearing which is supposed to insure that she gets fair treatment when management accuses an employee of misconduct. Since then, Maria was fired, and at a February 28, 2007 hearing before the Los Angeles Unified School District Personnel Commission hearing, the lawyer for the school district who opposes Marias attempts to get her job back was overheard by the President of San Fernando Valley MAPA (Mexican American Political Association) and the President of San Fernando Valley LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) making fun of the accent of a student from Los Angeles Mission College who had come to speak on Marias behalf. Do you think that people like this will give justice to Maria? On March 29, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. there will be another hearing before the Personnel Commission in Marias case at 333 S Beaudry Ave Los Angeles.
