How do we stop cops from brutalizing immigrants?
Did images of LAPD officers attacking one of
LAâs May Day rallies remind you of past and
not-so past police abuses? Discuss solutions
that go to the root of such problems as immigrant
bashing, ICE raids, and assaults on all civil
liberties. Advocates of an elected civilian
review board over the cops will make their case.
Discussion begins at 7:00 p.m. A Summer salad
supper will be served at 7:00 pm for a $6.00
donation. (Low income and work exchanges
available.) Solidarity Hall, 2170 W. Washington
