Greetings! Iraq Veterans Against the War-LA has just finished a conference call in which we determined that we need more participants to pull off Operation First Casualty in Santa Monica. We would like to do it on Memorial Day, but due to the lack of RSVP's for participants we are considering rolling it to the following weekend. If you are willing and able to participate on Memorial Day AND/OR the following weekend, we need you. To check out more about OFC, go to http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/03/19/AR2007031 901558.html http://www.ivaw.org/node/559 We need people to act as Iraqi civilians during the patrol, especially military aged males and Arabic speakers. Anyone who is willing to help out will be welcomed. The lack of replies so far have really hampered the planning process, so please respond by Tuesday, May 22 at 5:00 pm. At 7 that evening, the planning committee will hold a conference call to determine whether OFC will be on Mem. Day or the following weekend. The determination will be made based on your replies. Please forward this message to your friends; we would really appreciate all the help we can get. Jason Lemieux
