These are grave issues that warrant the attention of the community at-large. The Philippines is the world's top exporter of women, of which 30% end up in the global sex trade. From the 1980s on, at least 5,000 Filipinas annually are trafficked through mail-order bride agencies or international match-making agencies. Many of these women become victims of wife battery, divorce (70%), and even homicide. Whether domestic or international, sex trafficking subjects women and children to grave abuse, slavery and exploitation. We urge you to join us in exposing these insidious problems.
