This week the House of Representatives will vote on
the Foreign Operations Appropriations bill. This bill
funds both the School of the Americas AND the
International Law Enforcement Academy [ILEA] in El
Salvador.
WE ARE ENCOURAGING MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TO VOTE FOR THE
REP. JAMES MCGOVERN AMMENDMENT TO END FUNDING FOR THE
SCHOOL OF THE AMERICAS [now called WHINSEC.]
