FREE January 20 - Sunday Community Event -- Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Orlando Bagwell, producer of the acclaimed documentary film 'Eyes on the Prize,' will speak about the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., interspersing his remarks with clips from the film. Also included in Culver City's 2008 Martin Luther King Celebration will be remarks by California's Assembly Majority Leader, Karen Bass; performances by The Art of Living Choir and the California Center for Dance; speeches by winners of a student essay contest.
