George Carlin Remembered

a fitting tribute in a tumultuous time,
and at the premature parting of a revolutionary mind.
Wow, still hard to believe Carlin

is entertaining on the cloud circuit now.
Well, you don't believe that death would silence a mind and man like
that, do you ?
Get your TIVO and VCRs etc ready for some great taping - HBO is
sharing some of his best on the next three nights as a tribute.
For those that listened to the fabulous and revealing Art Bell hour
with George Carlin late Monday night on Coast to Coast AM (see link
below) you will understand this next point :
* Well, more cash for HBO and the Carlin family - but a justified
and bittersweet tribute
* His interview with Art Bell, revealed he was very money smart
-- he owns his shows not HBO
* HBO can show each one 18 times - but they are his and his estates
* Carlin not only knew how to critique the system but how to use it
* Makes me wish I had been smart enough to criticize big oil
while buying Exxon stock LOL
* Damn morality glitch - George was insightful enough to choose
his battles yet survive on his own terms
A great lesson.
In his interview, he joked that he would live to be 94 years young
and he chuckled about being immortalized in history thru his Supreme
Court case -- how ironic.
His lifestyle or genes, may have weakened his physical heart but no
one ever put more heart into his personal search for penetrating,
humorous, and yes the cutting edge of truth...and he had the heart of
a courageous lion to share his insights - The Wizard of Oz would be
proud ... as would - I am sure - was his bright mom and estranged
advertising wiz of a dad.
He will live on forever, in the RF and EM floating through the cosmos
and in the minds of anyone he touched.
Perhaps he was needed to shake up the beyond and heavenly Powers that
Be - that seem to need a swift kick in the immortal keister to
remember those imperfect learning little humans down here on this
marvelous spinning globe...
I bet Carlin will be headlining the 2012 galactic party with Johnny
Carson, Bob Hope and music from the Bopper, Oberson, Elvis, and
Janis....oh, and with Frank singing "I Did it My Way"
