The next meeting of Anti-Racist Action-LA/People Against Racist Terror will take place Monday evening, July 7 at 7 pm at Venice United Methodist Church Peace with Justice Center on Victoria at Lincoln Blvd (just north of Venice). We will be planning actions against Save Our State and other local racist forces. Copies of the latest (July-August Volume 21 Number 4) issue of Turning the Tide will be available for distribution. There are several important actions coming up to defense the Black Riders 3: The next event to Free the Black Riders 3 will be the Summer Solidarity Festival at the Southern CA Library, 6120 S. Vermont, on Saturday July 12 from noon to 9 PM, with films, speakers, workshops and music/spoken word to bring all the movements together. check http://diyzine.org/solidarity The next action will be a demonstration outside the headquarters of District Attorney at 210 W. Temple (the Criminal Courts building) on Thursday, July 24 at 11:00 AM to demand that the DA drop the charges. The next Defense Committee meeting will be on Thursday eve. July 17 at SCL at 7 PM. The next court appearance, in Division 131, 15th floor of 210 W. Temple, is 9:00 AM on July 28.
