But what's really important is that... we all contribute as much as we can to this wonderful nonprofit, EDN. It is a crucial tenants' legal service for much of the county. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that no one faced with eviction does so without representation. They charge on a sliding scale based on income. Their main office is open 6 days a week and potential clients can call first or just walk-in at 1930 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 208 , LA 90057. 213-385-8112 You can contribute by credit card through the EDN website by finding the Donate button at: http://www.evictiondefensenetwork.org Please be generous, they need to build a reserve fund so they are not at risk when the number of cases coming in ebbs, as it does from time to time.
