#8 screening of "Sir! No Sir!"
September 23rd in Long Beach

7pm
RADICAL CINEMA together with Long Beach City College
Filmmakers Association PRESENTS Sir! No Sir!
a film by David Zeiger This film documents the GI Resistance
Movement, which is credited with helping to end the war in Vietnam.
Includes interviews with soldiers, nurses and doctors who actively
resisted the war. We all know that there was a civilian protest
movement against the war in Vietnam. Much of how civilians protested
has been written out of U.S. history. The story of military
resistance was virtually erased.
This movie is one way to counteract this gross and intentional
re-writing of history. Please bring a friend with you when you
come to watch this inspiring, humorous and sobering movie.
Long Beach City College, Liberal Arts Campus,
D Building (Sciences) Room D135
Parking: $1.00
(do not park in spaces marked "STAFF")
Suggested donation: $5..00
Filmmaker David Zeiger will speak after the screening.
