One of the creators of the growing 'break-the-siege-of-Gaza' movement,
Greta Berlin, will be on CNI's live call-in radio show "Jerusalem Calling "on
Thursday, July 29th from 12 to 1 PM Eastern Time. Hosting the show will be
Alison Weir, CNI's new President and the founder of If Americans Knew.
After Israel began its full closure of Gaza in 2006, Berlin and a few others
came up with the idea of acquiring a boat and sailing to Gaza to break the
Israeli siege. While many people considered this an impossible dream, after
many months of intense work, Berlin and the others eventually succeeded in
August 2008, sailing the first international boat to freely reach Gaza in 41
years - and launching a major international movement that continues to grow.
