Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 SCIC Demands Justice for Manuel Jaminez Xum & James Davis III The Southern California Immigration Coalition (SCIC) will hold a Press Conference and protest at the office of District Attorney Cooley inside the Criminal Courts Bldg.to demand (1) an update on the investigation of the killing of Manuel Jaminez Xum by LAPD Officer Frank Hernandez on September 5, 2010, (2) the immediate prosecution of officers Frank Hernandez and Manuel Castaneda. This is the next step in our continued campaign to seek justice for the Jaminez family as well as the Davis family. We demand Cooley interrupt his campaigning and do his job! The Southern California Immigration Coalition demands: full, immediate legalization and equality for all im/migrants; the end to ICE raids, deportations and vehicle seizures, no bracero/guest-worker programs, and the right to organize!
