Revolutionary peasants marched against bureaucracy, corruption and oligarchy

Written by Class Struggle
Friday, 26 November 2010

Within hours of the morning, November 25, thousands of peasant
revolutionaries took to the streets of Caracas under the main slogan: "The
people stood with Chavez, democratic radicalization of the revolution." This
massive demonstration was organized by a group of organizations, including
the National Peasant Front Ezequiel Zamora and Bolivar and revolutionary
current Zamora.

Participants were peasants and the popular sectors, from all over the
country, from Anzoategui to Zulia. Many compatriots had traveled eight, ten
or twelve hours by their own means to get to Caracas and show the strength
of people's revolutionary movement.

The screams were heard in the march were "The people rose against the
bureaucracy, with that fight against capitalism," "Fight, fight, fight, be
sure to fight for a government worker, peasant and popular", "Alert, Alert,
alert, walking, sword of BolĂvar in Latin America "and" The people united
will never be defeated. "

The slogans on the banners were in line militant, "The bureaucracy
sabotaging the revolution," "Corruption kills the revolution",
"Anti-imperialism, bureaucracy and corruption" among others.

Revolutionary peasants are asking the Venezuelan government to accelerate
land reform to break with landlordism. Class struggle was present at the
march, showing our support for fellow farmers and selling our press.

Despite heavy rain, the march continued to the planned route and reached the
National Assembly, where many peasants and popular leaders gave speeches,
agreeing with the idea put forward recently by Chavez to radicalize the
revolution and to reject any pact with the bourgeoisie.
