Join families like Tommy and Debora Beard, and William and Esperanza Casco on Thursday, December 16 - Stand Up for the American Dream Day.
This holiday season, a number of wrongly foreclosed homeowners - some of whom have never missed a single payment on their loans - will be taking a stand. Come eviction day, a number of these hardworking families will be refusing to leave their homes even if it means going to jail.As these families are getting ready to take their stand, a broad group of supporters are preparing to join them. On Thursday, December 16, the Home Defenders League is organizing Stand Up for the American Dream Day, when homeowners from across Southern California will "move in" to the offices of a local bank - and when a group of homeowners and their supporters plan to stay at the bank until they are arrested. We are asking for your help to make Stand Up for the American Dream Day a success. Please join us on Thursday, December 16. If you would like to participate in Stand Up for the American Dream day, call (213) 863-4548 ext. 210 or e-mail [email protected] thank you for your support. http://calorganize.org/ ------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- LAAMN: Los Angeles Alternative Media Network --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Digest: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Help: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=laamn> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archive1: <http://www.egroups.com/messages/laamn> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archive2: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yahoo!
