Under Arrest NA10340gb What: Drivers License and Sobriety Checkpoint When and Where: The LAPD will be conducting Sobriety/Driver License checkpoints and driving-under-the-influence (DUI) saturation patrols in partnership with the Avoid DUI Task Force Campaigns and law enforcement nationwide on the following dates: Friday December 17, 2010 • Central Traffic Division will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 7 p.m. – 2 a.m. at Florence Avenue and Wadsworth Avenue in Newton Area; • South Traffic Division will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. at Manchester Avenue and Figueroa Street in Southeast Area; • Valley Traffic Division will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 8 p.m. – 3 a.m. at Reseda Boulevard and Gault Street in West Valley Area; • West Traffic Division will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 7:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. at Highland Avenue at De Longpre Avenue in Hollywood Area; and, • Emergency Operations Division will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. at Los Feliz Boulevard and Riverside Drive in Northeast Area.
