A message from a comrade in the Claremont area regarding their effort to counter a protest by the National Socialist Movement (the nazis who came to LA City Hall last April) which is scheduled for March 19 (same day as peace march in Hollywood).
This rally has grown into the hundreds. We posted a facebook event 48 hours ago and have 600 people attending with 5,500 still waiting to reply and growing every minute. This is going to be huge, much bigger than we imagined and we need support. The local newspaper, the Claremont Courier informed us that the NSM told them at they would be on foothill blvd. essentially the only big street in claremont. The way it looks right now, we are going to shut down the entire city. If anybody can make planning meetings we have one focused on the direct action aspect of this rally Wednesday (tomorrow) at 7pm at Pitzer in the Dolores Huerta Room (50 feet past the yellow bollards on the Pitzer Service Rd.) and one for the general rally on Thursday at 8pm same place.
