Please vote. Please invite others. Using facebook, twitter and blogs, we aim to create a wave of support around the world, for one young man, imprisoned without trial, in a supposedly "free" country. As the TIME magazine man of the year, the full irony of the charges against Mr. Manning will be more acutely felt by those in power in the US. They are directly responsible for sanctioning torture and using Bradley Manning as a scapegoat to create a climate of fear, and intimidation against whistleblowers. Bradley Manning has been charged by the US Government for being a whistleblower. A whistleblower is someone who acts from their conscience, and acts according to their values. Bradley Manning allegedly released the video which was released to the world by WikiLeaks as "Collateral Murder". Bradley Manning is a prisoner of the United States, incarcerated in the marine brig at Quantico, Virginia. He has been imprisoned under cruel and inhumane conditions, classified as torture by Amnesty International, and the subject of an investigation by the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture.
