Unions for Working Americans (just a small sample) Many of your great-grand-parents, grand-parents, & parents fought courageously for worker's rights to form a union & have a decent wage. For years, companies fought with guns, clubs, and brute force to prevent their workers from unionizing or making a living wage. All of us owe alot to those who went before us and paid with their lives and their families lives for what we have today. Pray today for the union laborers & non-union workers being suppressed or abused this very minute. The shop steward is often the point woman or man who bravely stands up under great threats and danger to uphold the law and needs of his fellow workers (I was a shop steward myself & speak 1st hand & my father was a union member also).
