Aqeela Sherrills Mr. Sherrills has worked tirelessly for the last two decades to create peace and reconciliation for survivors of gang violence and murder victims' families; he currently uses his own experience as a murder victim family member to serve as the California Outreach Coordinator for California Crime Victims for Alternatives to the Death Penalty.
