A contract is in negotiation for theatrical and international TV distribution. The distribution contract includes a $50,000 advance for production. We expect significant amounts of people will rent the film by Video-On-Demand (digital download) on iTunes, etc. Michael Moore’s, "Fahrenheit 9/11" grossed $224 million. “Loose Change”, one of the first documentaries questioning the official story of 9/11, has been seen online tens of millions of times worldwide in many languages. There is a deep unease about 9/11. Even though many people won’t come out and say it, they still feel something's wrong. A June 14, 2011 Siena Research Institute scientific poll reveals that ten years after the attacks there is growing concern over the official explanation. 48% of all New Yorkers are in favor of a new investigation into the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7, a 47-story steel-frame building which was not hit by an airplane and collapsed in 7 seconds at 5:21 PM – 7 hours after the Twin Towers. 32% were not even aware Building 7 collapsed on 9/11. 36% are inclined to believe critics who argue against the government’s explanation that the collapse was caused by fires while 40% are inclined to believe the government’s account. 23% are unsure. 28% believe the Twin Towers were brought down with explosives or some other demolition devices in addition to being hit by airplanes. 36% say they are not satisfied that we know the whole truth about that day and it is time to get to the bottom of what really happened. For those calling for a new 9/11 investigation, the release of “Confession of a 9/11 Conspirator” will be a focusing event. Even though 9/11 is a topic that doesn’t sell well in Hollywood, the filmmakers wanted to find a way around Hollywood’s lack of interest and thought about a script based on “What if the President called for a new investigation of 9/11?” The states of affairs and events the movie alludes to have a basis in historical reality – this direct link to that tragic day is a defining feature of the film’s fictional new investigation. The scientific evidence and testimonies make vital factual claims based upon sound research that are crucial to the persuasive power of the film – and emphasize its role as a mirror to reality. Synopsis Criticisms of the Bush administration’s official story of the events of 9/11 are, to be sure, inflammatory, for to reject the official story is to imply that US leaders, including the President, have constructed a massive lie. And if they did construct a false account, they would have done so, most people would assume, in order to cover-up their own complicity. The implication is that the 9/11 Commission and NIST Reports are a cover-up – of whatever the truth is. If this were a movie I would be asking for my money back after 10 minutes. And yet that's what they told us and that's what so many people still believe.
