Public Event · By Law Causa
Friday, July 27, 2012

East Los Angeles, California

FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

***Law Student DREAM Scholarship***

Law Causa’s goal is to empower and inspire
underrepresented communities to enter the field
of law by demystifying the law school admissions
process. One of the communities we wish to
empower are undocumented youth or DREAMERS.

We believe that by empowering DREAMERS to enter
the field of law we can eventually change the
system from within for the betterment of society.
This is why we have created the Law Student Dream Scholarship.

Our DREAM Scholarship will pay for 1/2 years
tuition to the Peoples College of Law, a small
fully licensed degree-granting, Juris Doctorate
program. This scholarship will be given to one
student who can demonstrate a commitment to social change (see application).

As of now we have raised nearly $2,000—half of
one year’s tuition*—and are eager to accept
applicants for our Fall 2012 scholarship.

The Banned Book scholarship, recently created by
Law Causa in collaboration with the Peoples
