This is absurd. When have the police intervened in a strike on the side of the workers?
The police (the army, prison guards, etc) are not 'workers'. They may almost all come from working class background--as what rich man is gonna go out to defend himself as the cops, army, etc do--but that does not make them workers. The may draw a salary, even call it a wage, but that does not make them workers. Cops, the army, etc are the hired gunslingers of the ruling class. And protect those interests. Period.
