I believe, the most important thing one should be THINKING about, in this
article is WHY are THESE SPECIFIC Companies, fighting labeling whether
Food is labeled as organic, and from the views of those who want to eat
healthy, why healthy labels on healthy safe foods are being fought by
these Corporations.

Maybe you should also rethink purchasing anything from them, for 2 reasons.

A) they use the profits from your purchases to influence legislation
against your health, and
B) why are they worried about you knowing what they have in their
products? They are afraid enough of this, to throw MILLIONS of dollars at
suppressing this information.

It's not like they have to state how much of the Chlorinated (bleached aka
White) Sugars or Petroleum Based Artificial Sweeteners in their products
are subsidized by your tax dollars, unlike the "Organic" labels that
aren't eligible for these tax payer funded subsidies.

Almost all of Europe has this kind of labeling, of course, Monsanto is
getting their but kicked there, most people, who know what's in their food
supply, will ingest their products.

(opponents to labeling) Almost all of the nearly $25 million has come from
a variety of chemical, seed and processed-food companies, including
Coca-Cola, General Mills, Nestle, PepsiCo and DuPont Pioneer. St.
Louis-based Monsanto, a leading producer of genetically engineered seeds,
donated $4.2 million
