I believe, the most important thing one should be THINKING about, in this article is WHY are THESE SPECIFIC Companies, fighting labeling whether Food is labeled as organic, and from the views of those who want to eat healthy, why healthy labels on healthy safe foods are being fought by these Corporations.
Maybe you should also rethink purchasing anything from them, for 2 reasons. A) they use the profits from your purchases to influence legislation against your health, and B) why are they worried about you knowing what they have in their products? They are afraid enough of this, to throw MILLIONS of dollars at suppressing this information. It's not like they have to state how much of the Chlorinated (bleached aka White) Sugars or Petroleum Based Artificial Sweeteners in their products are subsidized by your tax dollars, unlike the "Organic" labels that aren't eligible for these tax payer funded subsidies. Almost all of Europe has this kind of labeling, of course, Monsanto is getting their but kicked there, most people, who know what's in their food supply, will ingest their products.
