Every year the Center for the Study of Political Graphics holds an event in Los Angeles where they display their political posters from around the world, have entertainment, and give out awards to activists and artists. On Sunday afternoon, October 21st, the Center is holding its annual event at the Musician's Union Hall in Hollywood and one of the recipients of an award is Tom Morello, activist/singer/songwriter from Rage Against the Machine, who will also perform. I am another recipient of an award for 50 years of activism as well as my documentary filmmaking. Actor David Clennon is doing the voice-over for a short video I produced highlighting political events from the 1960's to the present which I was involved in, and which will be screened at the event. I'm hoping you can come. Since the cheapest tickets are $50.00, which is too expensive for many, I am getting discount tickets for those who want to attend. Please contact me.
