Take Action Now to Stop Israel’s Attacks on Gaza
Since November 8, Israel has killed at least 21 Palestinians in the
occupied and besieged Gaza Strip, the majority of whom are civilians,
including
children. In addition, 3 Israeli civilians have been killed by a Palestinian
rocket.
Israel's attacks against the Gaza Strip are being committed with U.S.
weapons given to Israel as military aid by the U.S. taxpayer. These weapons
are
being misused by Israel in violation of the U.S. Arms Export Control Act
to commit grave human rights abuses of Palestinians.

Stand up for economic justice with Wal-Mart workers on Black Friday
Here we go again. The frenzy to buy is about to begin when corporate
stores are looking to make big profits forcing their employees to work long
hours and miss holiday family time. It’s not that the employees don’t want to
work, but what about living wages, decent working conditions, good benefits
like healthcare and basic respect. Perhaps the most egregious example of
worker abuse is Wal-Mart where some workers after _three years only make
$8.90 an hour_

and healthcare deductions will increase in
January with no raise in wages. Workers are literally striking back and they
