Y en ningún instante dejamos de rogar al cielo por el milagro de ver a papá sano, fuerte y de pie! El viernes 1 de marzo, yo estuve con él haciendo nuestras oraciones, luego bajé a la misa de inauguración de la capilla en el Hospital Militar y posteriormente volví a verlo junto al Ministro Jorge Arreaza (a quién él amó como a un hijo más), y aunque se sentía cansado estuvo dando instrucciones de gobierno y pidiendo información sobre la situación en el país. No es justo, no es humano, no es aceptable que ahora pretendan decir que hemos estado mintiendo con respecto a la fecha de su partida. Venezuela, con toda la responsabilidad del mundo, con toda la sinceridad del alma destrozada de una hija que AMÓ y AMA a su padre infinitamente, les digo que mi gigante murió luchando y murió en su patria el día 5 de marzo de 2013.
