Hello Chain Reaction Supporter, This Saturday, April 27th at 8:00 PM, there will be an event at Rusty's Surf Ranch: www.rustyssurfranch.com to help raise funds needed to restore the Chain Reaction Sculpture that is located in front of Santa Monica City Hall. The editorial cartoonist Paul Conrad donated this peace statement artwork to the city over 20 years ago. The sculpture is in need of repairs and Russ Barnard has generously offered use of his establishment for this fundraising event. The Featured Musical Acts of the Evening are: New Roads Jazz Band featuring Kaya Mandissa and Miguel Castellanos The Lefteous Sisters - Sessions - Half Brother The cost of admission is $20 or $10 for students. Chain Reaction T-shirts and books written by Paul Conrad will be on sale. Proceeds are to go to the fund to restore Chain Reaction. This is a great chance to contribute to a cause which includes art, public awareness and peace. Rusty's is located at 256 Santa Monica Pier. Doors Open at 8:00 PM and Music begins at 8:30.
