This year marks the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Korean Armistice,
which temporarily halted the fighting, yet failed to officially end the
Korean War. We will show two documentary films on the impact of the unending
Korean War and discuss it with the filmmakers. "Memory of Forgotten War" and
"The Woman, The Orphan and The Tiger".

Memory of Forgotten War: introduces audiences to the lived experience and
legacies of the Korean War, as four Korean American war survivors share
deeply personal accounts of events preceding, during, and following the
fighting. For more information about this film and the filmmakers Deann Liem
and Ramsay Liem, click here.

The Woman, The Orphan & The Tiger: follows a group of international adoptees
and other women of the Korean Diaspora in their 20s and 30s.
It explores the ways in which trauma is passed on from previous generations
to the present through a sense of being haunted.
