Chancellor Elías Jaua meets with John Kerry in Guatemala

Antigua, Guatemala, June 5 - The American Secretary of State, John Kerry,
will keep this Wednesday a brief encounter with its Venezuelan counterpart,
Elias Jauá Beach, in the margins of the General Assembly of the
Organization of American States (OAS) in Antigua (Guatemala), stated this
Tuesday a high American diplomatic source.

Kerry will speak with the Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs stated the
source to the press on board the plane of the official secretary of State.

The president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, ratified the best intentions of
the Venezuelan Government toward the meeting that will hold the chancellor,
Elias Jauá Beach, with the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, in
the framework of the 43or General Assembly of the Organization of American
States (OAS).

When you install a Bolivarian Dialog in the Salón Bolívar in the Carabobo
state government, along with his ministerial train and members of the local
executive, the President reminded that the historical leader Hugo Chavez,
he instructed to be declared ready to revive relations with the United
States.

"I'm sure that our Chancellor shall be responsible for keeping this meeting
with a good atmosphere and then we will get back to you with the results of
the meeting', in favor of resuming relations with the government of
President Obama, said the Venezuelan head of State.

He recalled that the Venezuelan charge d'affaires, Calixto Ortega, is kept
on hand to explain the conditions of mutual respect for internal affairs
and the government projects for both countries.

He reminisced about that, particularly in November of last year, when the
Venezuelan Government received a telephone call from Roberta Jacobson, the
Comandante Chavez requested to congratulate Barack Obama on his electoral
victory now, in addition to endorsing the provision to restore the
bilateral relationship.
