Please forward widely: The Hands Off Africa Movement, initiated by the Black Riders Liberation Party and endorsed by the Council of Ujima and the Inter-Communal Solidarity Committee, is holding a launching event, focused on Justice for Trayvon - Hands Off Assata - Hands Off Mecca and Etana Shakur - Free All Political Prisoners - Withdraw all Racist US/NATO forces from Africa. The event will take place at the Southern California Library for Social Studies and Research, 6120 S. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles (between Slauson and Gage), from 1-5:00 PM. Keynote speaker is General T.A.C.O. (Taking All Capitalists Out) of the Black Riders Liberation Party, the new generation Black Panthers, and there will be other community speakers and info-tainment. There will be more information about the case of Etana and Mecca Shakur, 2 BRLP sister comrades who defended themselves against a racist assault by the Inglewood PD, and are facing false charges of alleged assault and battery on a police officer. (People will pack the Inglewood Courthouse in solidarity for their court appearance on Wed. July 31 at 8:30 AM).
