I am new at this, so I am not in the know, but several on this list have websites. Go to yahoo and search it out. I have a black lab female and the stud was a standard poodle, also black. If it took, we will have puppies in mid-January. I assume they will be black, however Ariel, our lab was the only black in her littler and there are several chocolates (her mom) in the genealogy. her father was yellow, and the rest of her sisters were yellow...so we'll see. If my brothers dog (Misty, my dogs sister,yellow) is pregnant....then later this month we could have some. (she also was with the same poodle). We are in the process of getting CKC registrations, so that even though they are a mixed breed, the puppies will have papers. A lot of if's but I am new at this! They will be..F1, I think.... Ariel, our lab has the shiniest black hair so, I bet her puppies are beauties.... will let you all know how it goes. Carla
