Keri, It does sound as if a doodle would be a great match for your family. Where are you located? We have cream colored females that can go home this weekend and black miniature males that can go home next weekend. I have been looking all over and doing research and i just need some guidance.  We are a family of four, Myself, my husband, our 10 year old son and our 2 and a half year old daughter.  We have had a Pomeranian for about 5 years and my mother in law got attached to him.  My Father in law passed away last month so we are giving her the dog.  We LOVE the dog but he barks all the time and even though potty trained still goes in the house.  What has made it even easier is he wants nothing to do with the kids.  All that said we want another dog. I was raised with Labs (which I love but cannot handle the shedding) and my husband was raised with a peekipo.  So we have to come up with a happy medium.  Most importantly we have to have a very kid friendly dog along with one that doesn't bark at ever single thing.  Can you please help me.  I started my search looking for a Labradoodle as my mother said they would be good for us....but we are open to anything...i was even looking at the mini labradoodle.  thank you for your time keri Yahoo!
