The International Energy Agency, an adviser to 26 industrialized
countries on oil policy, left its forecast for world oil demand growth
this year almost unchanged as a surge in consumption led by China and
the US that started last year eases. Oil demand will grow by 1.78-mil
b/d, 10,000 b/d more than expected last month, to 84.3-mil b/d, the
agency said in its latest monthly oil report.
